Ms. Hem's background:
Ms. Hem attended the University of Dallas as a Partners in Excellence Scholar and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Further studies led Ms. Hem to complete her education at the University of Tulsa College of Law.
While completing her law degree, Ms. Hem was a member of the Tulsa Journal of Comparative and International Law,
Board of Advocates, American Trial Lawyers Association Team, American Association of Justice and American Bar Association.
Ms. Hem successfully competed in many law school competitions, including the Hager Torts Appellate Competition, ABA Negotiation Nationals Competition, and PACE Environmental Law Nationals Competition. Additionally, Ms. Hem was President of the Women's Law Caucus and received the National Association of Women Lawyers Award.
Ms. Hem is currently affiliated with the American Bar Association, American Association of Justice, Order of Barristers, Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Young Lawyers Association, Dallas Asian American Bar Association, Dallas Women Lawyers Association, J.L. Turner Bar Association and is a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas. Ms. Hem has also joined the Richardson Chamber of Commerce.
